Mission

ICM Finland Ltd is a software service provider with the mission to help its customers in efficient management of critical information and to offer information management prerequisites for the creation and maintenance of competition advantage in networking business environment. Strong product development of its own, strategic partnerships and profound understanding of the needs of our customers form the basis to carry out this mission.

History

The history of the company goes back more than ten years, when the information management challenges encountered in academic research projects led to the birth of a totally new approach. At the time when even email was a novelty, a centralized and easily available knowledge bank was created, without the encumbrances of traditional software, such as high one-time investments, difficulties to cross organizational boundaries, or a long and troublesome installation period. This direct exchange of ideas with leading basic research still continues fruitful.

In addition to boundary-breaking academic research, the carrying force in our product development is open dialogue with our many customers. Focusing on the customer is the basis of our strategy and this can be seen, in addition to our interactive operating culture, in the first-class usability and flexible modularity of our solutions which meet the customer’s needs and challenges at any given time.

In addition to independent product development, we are also an IBM Business Partner, which makes it possible for us to realize even extensive overall solutions together with selected partners. The solutions by IBM are very open, which enables supporting the existing it-infrastructure without the need for compromises. As the platform solutions of our own applications come from IBM, our customers will enjoy a long life cycle of our solutions and versatile integration opportunities to existing solutions on a wide front, to technologies provided by most dissimilar suppliers.
